WinMail junk filter -- brain damaged?

For whatever reason, the junk mail filter does not learn to identify
non-junk. No matter how many times I identify emails from a listserv or an
email distrib list, some of them get dumped in junk mail instead of in the
folders I have set up for them. (Yes, I even have rules to route these
incoming messages to individual folders.)

I set up WinMail for a couple of lists only, as a test, thinking to use it
exclusively; but this bug is keeping me tied to an increasingly flaky and
CPU-hogging Outlook 2003. If this is just "working as designed," then I'll
dump it and endure Outlook a bit longer.

Window Mail's junk filter does not 'learn'.
Unfortunately the internal junk rules operate before your
custom message rules do.
