| | Web Page e-mail address goes to Word/Outlook editor?? We use only Windows Mail for our E-mail service BUT for some reason when we click on a e-mail address on a web page it opens up Word or Outlook and has the e-mail address already listed for composition.. We want it to autmatically compose in Windows Mail, can anyone tell me where this setting is?? Thanks in advance |

| | Re: Web Page e-mail address goes to Word/Outlook editor?? Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item: "Set your default programs." After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows Mail". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Paul T" <pmt1209@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:AE2B632E-A892-42F4-96FF-E9EB2EE6F31F@xxxxxx Quote: > We use only Windows Mail for our E-mail service BUT for some reason when we > click on a e-mail address on a web page it opens up Word or Outlook and has > the e-mail address already listed for composition..
