| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Links in Windows Mail Hello Robert, Double check to make sure that "Windows Mail" and "Internet Explorer" is set as the default program with all of it's associations set to it. Windows Mail Default Associations It seems that you are posting from the future as well. Your time is off. ![]() Hope this helps, Shawn For the past few days, I have been experiencing a problem with Windows Mail. When I try to open a link included in an E-mail from FaceBook or another website I get the following message: "application not found" Please tell me what application they are talking about, and what to do to fix this. If I lost that application, I don't know how. Thank you RJR |

| | Re: Links in Windows Mail The app in question is the one that would be needed to open that link. If it is a URL (http://) link, that would be your browser. If that is IE, do this: Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item: "Set your default programs." After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Internet Explorer". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Robert Riendeau" <rjriendeau@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eVOyDUTXJHA.868@xxxxxx Quote: > For the past few days, I have been experiencing a problem with Windows Mail.
