how to migrate OE to Vista Mail ?

I recall from a friends XP computer
that it was impossible to migrate from Outlook Express
to Vista Mail (since OE doesn't exist in Vista)

Is that still true ???
There is no way to take the entire OE file,
with all the messages & embedded attachments
and migrate to Vista ?????

That's just nuts if true ?
What do I do with my years worth of formatted emails,
and sports schedules, documents, and all the other attachments ?

Are there any alternatives that will retain my OE file in the Vista world ?

Import messages into Windows Mail from Outlook Express.

SO - you're telling me that I can take my ENTIRE Outlook Express file system
and have Windows Vista Mail work with it totally -
ALL the messages + ALL the formatting + ALL the attachments ?

I have everything from the past several years saved in OE,
and it all is omportant for historical references.... drawings,
spreadsheets, etc

I probably have about 10,000 messages in each folder,
and several different project folders.

Re: how to migrate OE to Vista Mail ?

Once you get the messages moved as Bruce outlined, you will have all the
formatting in each message as well as any attachments included in any
message.
