transferring data from OE

I have read online the various tutorials for moving address book and
messages from OE to Windows Vista Mail. (moving to a new machine).

My question is... in the Mail messages... I have created a number of
folders/sub folders that hold these messages. If I transfer the messages as
per the instructions here... am I reading correctly that ALL messages I have
saved in more than 2 dozen distinct folders will be "dumped" into a single
folder called "IMPORTED FOLDERS" -- or will the transfer bring the FOLDERS
with the messages inside???

Same thing for Address Book -- I have my address book subdivided into about
5 groups -- and about 8 folders.

Will they come in as one big long list -- which I will have to manually
distribute? or will the folders/groups come in as units?

Thanks in Advance

Kathryn Groves

Re: transferring data from OE

I have also discovered that when you go through the EXPORT process -- it
only does the main identity addy's -- and NONE of those in other folders...

Oh joy!!
