    switching from dial-up to hi-speed

When I try to download mail I continue to get the dial-up box. I have
    tried to eliminate everything
in the set-up pertaining to localnet dial-up. Even disabled the modum. I
    am connected to tampabaybay
road runner and everything else works fine except email. I created a new
account which works but my old account
has lots of stuff I need.

Tools menu>accounts>select your account (each account, in turn),
properties>connection tab> remove the check mark from "always connect
    using">apply>OK.
Now WM will use any connection available for all accounts.
