| Guest | Getting Double Messages from Windows Mail User Hello Group,I have one customer who is using Windows Mail. Every email she sends me comes in twice. I am running XP Pro and use Incredimail. I have had her check to make sure I'm not in her address book twice and she says I'm not. No one else has reported to her that they are getting duplicate emails. This is not a biggie, but there should be a fix for this. Anybody have any ideas, I would certainly appreciate them.Atocha Post Originated from http://www.VistaForums.com Vista Support Forums |

| Administrator | Re: Getting Double Messages from Windows Mail User Hello Atocha, She may have a duplicate email account with both having the same email address. She can check in Windows Mail at Tools and Accounts to check to see if she does. If she does, then deleting the duplicate will stop the duplicate messages. Hope this helps, Shawn Hello Group,I have one customer who is using Windows Mail. Every email she sends me comes in twice. I am running XP Pro and use Incredimail. | Guest | Re: Getting Double Messages from Windows Mail User Besides what Brink has said, there could be another possibility. Your name may belong to a contact group. Scenario #1: She put your name on the " TO " column, and the contact group name in the BCC column, or vice versa. Scenario #2 : She put both your name and the group name in the " TO " column. Either way, you'll get duplicates. Just a wild guess, of course. t-4-2 "Atocha" wrote in message news:u5TPmuUcJHA.2444@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello Group,I have one customer who is using Windows Mail.
