Expanding a Group in the To: box

I use Windows Mail (which is effectively Outlook Express) in Windows Vista. I
have various groups set up in my Contacts list. Occasionally I need to send
an email to a particular group, but excluding one of its members. When I put
the group name in the To: box, is there some way of expanding the group name
into individual names so I can delete one of them?

    A not-so-high-tech workaround.
Remove the contact name from the group first, then enter the group name on
    the TO column. Send.
Go back to your contact group, re-enter the name via New Contact.

Windows Live Mail automatically expands the Group into its individual
members when you put it on the To line. You are welcome to upgrade
    to Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail
