| | Adding additional accounts I am new to Vista. I activated windows vista mail with the email my internet provider carries (cableone). Works perfectly. Now I want to ad my gmail and yahoo accounts. I read the help and instructions and did EXACLY like it says...no go.... I get error messages .. The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E Can someone help? Thanks in advance! |

Remember to enable POP on the gmail site, also note the port numbers that are required. Port 110 needs to be changed.
