I am having trouble setting up my email on vista. I get the following

The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.

Re: trouble setting up email

You have to place the correct information in the proper place. From your
description you are not in the correct tab.

Suggest you contact your ISP help desk and get them to assist you.

This is because, and the next line tells you what the problem is...

Which it clearly is not.

Yep, there's the problem. You've mistaken the server *type* for the server
*name*.

For example:

You need to contact your email provider for instructions on settng up
Windows Mail with your email account. They will have these online, it's
one of the most common questions. Directions for Outlook Express will be
almost identical.

The settings do actually mean something and you must enter them correctly.
