| | Windows Live Mail stops running on it's own Several times a day Windows Live Mail just stops working, crashes and burns. What would be the cause? I have Trend Micro Virus installed, but I have the email scanning turned off. Will there be an update to Windows Live Mail anytime soon to address these problems? Thanks in advance |

| | Re: Windows Live Mail stops running on it's own Trend Micro antivirus is among the top three troublemakers for Windows Mail. You have taken the correct first step by disabling its interaction with email. However, that may not be sufficient to solve the problem. If no improvement, do a trial uninstall of the antivirus. Another option (instead of uninstalling Trend Micro) is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which is more resistant to the adverse effects of overly intrusive antivirus products: http://download.live.com/wlmail -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Chuck Lind" <Basset3@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:%23M8kSYjfJHA.1744@xxxxxx Quote: > Several times a day Windows Live Mail just stops working, crashes and burns. > What would be the cause?
