Message disappeared when moved from "sent" to "inbox" folder

I moved a message from the "sent"folder to the "inbox" folder and it
disappeared alltogether; I can't find it anywhere. Any tips on how to find it
would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Message disappeared when moved from "sent" to "inbox" folder

Open the Inbox folder, then look near the upper right corner.
Does it say "Hide Read Messages" or "Show All Messages"?
You want the latter setting for what is known as the 'Current View'.
Each folder saves its current view setting, so check that setting in
every folder.
