Vista - sending out mail on craigslist

i can't reply to craigs list.i have to set defalt mail client and i'm not use to this computer just started could some one please help me thank you so much.

I have had the same exact problem for over 6 months. If you get an answer I
hope it will be posted. Thanks. What I have been doing is coping and pasting
the address on the criags listing to my regular email and trying to reply
that way.

From this thread I gather that Qwest has shortchanged you by setting
you up with a webmail account that has no POP access:

You will have to upgrade to Windows Live Mail in order to be able
to use a q.com email address with a desktop email client program.

What is your preferred email service? Some of them cannot be set as the
default under Vista.

I keep getting a pop up saying it's not the right server. I have windows mail and I have put my eMAIL and server for the email I have and it still doesn't work. I'ts vital I get this fixed, the jobs I'm looking for have been on craigslist and I can't send a reply. HELP!

It would be really helpful if you disclosed who your mail provider is
(or the part of your email address after the @ symbol). Otherwise
we're stabbing in the dark here.
