| | Attachments quirk This is a recent phenomenon. Probably within the last month, every so often I get an email with the paperclip in the left hand column with no paperclip in the message - no file or link or anything is attached. Anyone come across this before? Windows Mail; VISTA home prem SP1 -- Sal |

| | Re: Attachments quirk Are you reading messages as plain text only? That will show attachments with HTML messages. You can do a CTRL-F3 and check the source of the message to see if there is in fact some sort of attachment also. steve "Sal" <szdesign@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eIVwqw9hJHA.5732@xxxxxx Quote: > This is a recent phenomenon. | | Re: Attachments quirk I have seen this behavior when the sender used Outlook. Outlook's proprietary attachment encoding cannot be decoded by Windows Mail. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Sal" <szdesign@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eIVwqw9hJHA.5732@xxxxxx Quote: > This is a recent phenomenon.
