| Vista Home Premium 64 bit with Service Pack 1 | Email attachment-Can't Find Files I have backup software on my computer that backs up to an off-site location. I had some questions about how well it was or wasn't functioning, and I attempted to send the tech a copy of the data log as an attachment to my email to him. However, after I attach it to the email, when I try to send it I get a pop-up that says, "Some of the files could not be found, and could not be attached to the message. Would you like to send the message anyway?" What is causing this problem? As far as I can tell, I do not have the file opened when I'm trying to send the email. (I sent the log anyway by copying it and pasting it into a Word document, and then attaching that to my email.) Can anyone tell me what causes this problem and what I can do about it? |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit with Service Pack 1 | Re: Email attachment-Can't Find Files I'm not sure what you mean. HDD? (Hard Disk Drive?) The attachment is part of a file that's on my hard drive. |

| | RE: Email attachment-Can't Find Files I know why .... I had same problem as you did.. you need to close those documents first from MS word, of course save them first then close then go ahead and attach the documents in your email. It will show up at other email. Let me know if that helps.
