Not receiving my email

I can send mail but I am not receiving any. I get the following message
when I hit the send / receive button:

The host 'pop3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'pop3', Server: 'pop3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Thanks for any help in advance.

Toni

Re: Not receiving my email

that's what she has listed as her email address...
but maybe that's not the account she's trying to set up, though... we don't
know.

Yes I saw that and posted a reply to her other message later.

The above link shows .rr in other places than NY, bear in mind that I am in
the UK, I wondered if you had a pointer to her being in the NY area? That's
all.
As you say, we don't know if that is the account settings she needed.

Re: Not receiving my email

The "stny.rr.com" part of her email address means the OP is located
in the Southern Tier area of the state of NY.
