Vista - cannot receive email in windows mail

I have used windows mail without a problem for 2 years. Then, 2 days ago I
noticed that although I was sending emails, I was not getting any. I checked
my webmail, and found 15, dating from the 16th (some were replies to my
outgoing messages, so I know that I have no problem sending). When I click on
'send and receive' it does the usual 'securing, authorising, connecting,
disconnecting', and states that there are no new messages. I have checked all
the server settings, none have been changed. But changed them anyway (POP3 is
995, SMTP is 465), and it won't connect at all if those are changed, so
changed them back to 995 and 465. I don't get any error message, it just does
the 'securing......disconnecting, no new messages' thing. Could any one help
me please?

Contact your ISP who may have made some changes you're not aware of.
