| | Removing Attachments How can I remove (delete) some or all of the attachments from a Windows Mail message? I can see that if I right-click on an attachment, there is an option to "remove" the attachment, but it is greyed out so it does not work. Is there a way to turn on this capability in Windows Mail? I have used the same feature in Outlook for years but I cannot figure out how to make it work in Windows Mail. -- James |

| | Re: Removing Attachments No, WinMail doesn't have this capability. My OEX program (www.oehelp.com/OEX/) works with both OE and WinMail and it does have this feature as well as others. steve "James" <James@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0AF86EC0-9611-4F24-B05E-1E601CD2518C@xxxxxx Quote: > How can I remove (delete) some or all of the attachments from a Windows > message? | | Re: Removing Attachments You can save an attachment, but you can't delete it. You'll have to delete the entire message. If you want to save the text, you can click on Reply, then remove the attachment(s), then click on File - Save As... and save it to a .eml, .txt or .html file. -- Windows 7 beta http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview http://download.live.com/wlmail "James" <James@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0AF86EC0-9611-4F24-B05E-1E601CD2518C@xxxxxx Quote: > How can I remove (delete) some or all of the attachments from a Windows > message?
