Hotmail: http://liveunplugged.spaces.live.com...90CA!422.entry Yahoo: US- and CA-based accounts must be associated with a Yahoo Plus subscription to be able to access the account in a Mail Client. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Christine Thomas wrote: Quote: > Okay, I am completely new to this!! | | Re: Setting up Hotmail or Yahoo or Another? To supplement what Steve said: Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject Hotmail addresses. So, when you enter your email address initially, give it a fake one, such as me@xxxxxx. After the account setup is complete, go back and correct your email address. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Christine Thomas" <bearkat_chic18@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6D4C68E3-2ADF-4B2A-9B57-9A13BF7ACC8C@xxxxxx Quote: > Okay, I am completely new to this!!
