Vista - moving links into windown mail message

In Outlook, I used to be able to put a clickable link in my email which would
allow a recipient to clink and the link and access an internet site. For
some reason I cannot do that with mail. Do I need to change a setting to
allow me to do this?

You can do it. It just doesn't act clickable in the compose message window.
It should work correctly for the recipient.

To test, save your message as a Draft... File Save... then re-open it.
Then click on the link.
