That's because you haven't got Outlook installed. You cannot import mail
from a pst file unless Outlook is installed on the same machine...

Re: How to import email from Outlook to Windows email from external hard drive

Hi, Barbara.

Please check your date and time - and especially your TIME ZONE setting.
Your post shows as having been sent at:
Date: Tue, 7 Apr 2009 17:08:34 -0230

The -0230 time zone does not even show up in my Windows. It would be about
as far West as Montevideo or Greenland. Where (in the world) are you?

Re: How to import email from Outlook to Windows email from external hard drive

Hi, SPAMCOP User.

Thanks, I had not noted that. So her time zone setting probably should be
UTC/GMT +0100. Like your post:
Date: Tue, 7 Apr 2009 19:15:06 +0100

WLMail automatically converts the Sender's time to the recipient's time in
the Sent column. Your post shows in MY WLM as "Sent: 4/7/2009 1:15 PM" -
which is US Central Daylight Saving Time, GMT -0500.

When any post is listed out of sequence in the Message List, as hers is in
the attached Snip, it almost always is because the Sender's system time
setting is incorrect.

Aside from causing this kind of confusion, an incorrect system date/time
setting can cause many other kinds of problems in the Sender's computer -
such as failure to receive needed Windows Updates. So it's not just a
cosmetic problem, but can have unfortunate consequences and should be
corrected.
