posting question

I posted to Microsoft.word.newusers and it didn't post. I tried 3 times. I
can post to any other news group. What's up you all?

Re: posting question

There is no newsgroup by that name.
Try microsoft.public.word.newusers.

Re: posting question

That's the newsgroup I'm talking about. I just checked and it still isn't
posted.

Re: posting question

Are you posting with the Windows Mail program or via the web?
There are two settings in Windows Mail that may keep you from seeing
your posts:
1. Go to Tools, Options, Read, uncheck "Get 300 headers at a time".
2. On the General tab, uncheck "Use newsgroup message rating
features". Microsoft has acknowledged that there is a bug in the
Communities features that may prevent messages posted under
that feature from appearing.
