| | Double messages We have 2 computers, mine and my husbands, we can share files with each computer. We have one email account because he does not use email. However the emails show up on both computers and we do not want them on his. If he does open the email and deletes them then I cannot read them on my computer because they are gone. If i read and delete on my computer they remain on his and I have to go clean his up every couple of days. How can we get emails on just my computer? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Double messages Hello Phyllis, I suppose that if he does not need email, then you can just delete the email account on his computer for it to not receive or send emails anymore from that account. If you would prefer to keep the email account on his computer, then in Windows Mail on both computers, Tools, Accounts, select email account, click on Properties, Advanced tab you can: 1. Check "Leave a copy of messages on server" 2. Adjust the "Remove from server after xx days" and "Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Item' " to how long and when to delete the messages. Hope this helps, Shawn We have 2 computers, mine and my husbands, we can share files with each computer. We have one email account because he does not use email.
