| vista home premium 64 bit | error 11001 0x800cccod hi all i am having trouble with windows mail. i am getting error #11001 and ox800cccod. called time warner . got it fixed i thought. worked once and the next time i went back to mail i started getting the errors. i put in pop-servers.roadrunner.com and smtp-servers.roadrunner.com can some one help thanks... mike |

| | Re: error 11001 0x800cccod The server mail.talktalk.net certainly does exist. If your Windows Mail can't find it, either your Internet connection is bad or its DNS lookup is failing. You should contact Southern Vermont College for the correct mail settings. It is not likely their mail server uses SSL on port 587, so as a first guess I would disable SSL: Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced, then uncheck the SSL option.
