| | i am going CRAZY, I have windows vista home premium (32 bit) on a gateway computer and for the last week i have been trying without any luck to get and receive my email from comcast,my primary email account.. I have tried EVERYTHING in the help section as far as setting it up and still nothing. I cannot sent or receive any email, and i am so frustrated, somebody please help.. -- . can somone please help me, i am so frustrated!!!! Lady Kick Butt |

Servers tab: Incoming mail server: POP3 Incoming mail (POP3): mail.comcast.net Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.comcast.net Check the box... My server requires authentication Advanced tab: Outgoing mail (SMTP): 587 Incoming mail (POP3): 110 After making changes...always be sure to left click...Apply / OK. | | Re: i am going CRAZY, Be sure to use these settings: http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ...s.ashx?Id=2288 Note that the outgoing server now requires port 587 rather than port 25.
