    windows mail

    messages sent to me come thruogh but the people sending them receive a fatal
    error message so all my friends think I have no email. Please help.

    Well, Windows Mail doesn't send out 'fatal' error notices. Only mail servers
    do that. So the problem is probably caused by your mail service provider.
    Complain to them.
