| | Re: Deleting Contacts NOT in Contact List Windows Mail maintains an auto-complete cache of the last 29 addresses you sent email to. You can delete the entire auto-complete list: http://www.winhelponline.com/article...dows-Mail.html Or try this utility to selectively remove some addresses: http://www.winhelponline.com/article...dows-Mail.html Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP-Print/Imaging -- WA7BGX www.kvoa.com -- KVOA Television, Tucson, AZ. | | Re: Deleting Contacts NOT in Contact List Windows Mail auto-completes from a separate list of 29 addresses you type in, not from your contacts. This list is stored in the registry. If you wish to remove old or incorrect addresses, there is a utility to clear recently used email addresses in Windows Mail... http://www.winhelponline.com/article...dows-Mail.html To retrieve addresses from your contacts folder, click on the To: button. This is one of the features that works properly in the newer Windows Live Mail. -- Windows 7 RC http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview http://download.live.com/wlmail "poetman" <poetman@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:EEA93557-3C4C-4782-A254-ADDFEBFF8047@xxxxxx Quote: > Even though I have deleted a contact from contact list, it keeps showing > up > (Windows Mail) in auto-completion of addressee.
