Lots of people have problems with email Betty, windows and otherwise.
Need to know what the exact text of the error says. It would also help
if you tell us if it ever worked, you mention months, did something you
can remember happen just before the problem started?

Yes, I am having the same problem. It started last week. I can receive, but
not send unless I am on webmail. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

I did not experience any problems with my windows mail. Did you install anything that might have caused it? What was the error message, to start with?
