AIM Imap Folders

I have tried multiple times to configure my AIM mail into my Windows mail,
however I don't get all my imap folders. I've searched every thread I can
find and it says to go to the IMAP tab in the account properties, but I don't
show an IMAP tab??? Can anyone help?

Re: AIM Imap Folders

Go to Tools, Acconts, select that account, Properties.
If you don't see the IMAP tab then you don't have the account setup as IMAP.
On the Servers tab, what does it say in the topmost box?

In the topmost box is says POP 3. The incomming mail server says imap.aol.com and the outgoing smtp field says smtp.aol.com

Re: AIM Imap Folders

That's what I figured. No wonder you're not seeing the IMAP folders!
Add a new account using these instructions:
http://about.aol.com/faq/openmailaccess#OE6

Those instructions were witten for Outlook Express but Windows Mail
uses the same settings. When you have the new IMAP account
working correctly, you can delete the POP3 account.
