Vista - Junk Email Folder

How can I permanently delete the Junk email folder? It serves no purpose.
Someone other than me decides what is junk. I still have to go to it to
check the messages that should not be junk. I can do that from the Inbox.
The options for the Junk emal folder do not allow you to make a decision not
to send anything there.

You can't delete the Junk E-mail folder. You can keep anything from
being sent there by doing the following three actions:
1. Tools, Junk E-mail Options, "No automatic filtering".
2. On the Blocked Senders tab, delete all Blocked Senders.
3. On the Phishing tab, unselect the check boxes.
