| | POP3 & SMTP Hello, I'm trying to set up my Windows Email and when it comes to the POP3 & SMTP I'm not quite sure what I need to put there in order to send and receive emails from my windows. Could someone please help me with this I've tried everything and nothing works. I don't see anywhere online for assistance with this I'm not sure if you put microsoft.pop3.com & microsoft.smtp.com because when I tried that it didn't work. I hope to get a response back from someone here's another email address to forward your response to: mznette2fine47@xxxxxx -- Sincerely, MzNette |

| | Re: POP3 & SMTP Windows Mail can not access http accounts. If you wish to access your Hotmail account like you did in Outlook Express, you'll need to use the newer Windows Live Mail program. However, you can now access Hotmail/Msn/Live accounts via POP3 (email is downloaded to your computer). http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog...33!49799.entry Windows Mail is coded to reject Hotmail addresses, but you can fool it by entering a fake address (me@xxxxxx), then renaming it after the account is set up (me@xxxxxx). -- Windows 7 RC http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview http://download.live.com/wlmail "mznette" <mz_nette2fine4u@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BF3593B1-C59D-4417-94BD-10752E489372@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello, > I'm trying to set up my Windows Email and when it comes to the POP3 & > SMTP I'm not quite sure what I need to put there in order to send and > receive > emails from my windows.
