Not sure whaa Renato shows but I get the same error code. Here is the whole
messaae that shows after I try to update my email. This is a new computer and
I am trying to get my account set up to download to my computer. Any help
would be appreciated.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Martin', Server:
'pop3.live.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

This is for a Hotmail.com account?
That server doesn't use port 110. Use these settings:
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog...33!49799.entry
Use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.

I do not have a hotmail accout, its a business domain through google and it
states this:

Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for info@newsgroup.' reported
error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for
info@newsgroup. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).'
