| | Re: Mail Alerts No program can do something when it is not executing. I am not sure what you are asking for. You say "mail alert"; if you need to receive email when an event happens, such as an earthquake or a good deal or something that someone wants to give away, then you need to find a web site that offers services such as that. You also say "notifier interupt any program", which is totally different from a "mail alert". Note that very few programs are designed to respond to an interruptions such as that. If you can clarify what you want, it might be possible but it is difficult to understand what you are asking for. | | Re: Mail Alerts You can minimize Windows Mail to the taskbar. If that doesn't suit you, there is an add-on to minimize it to a tray icon: http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/wi...-windows-mail/ In any case, it has to be running to check for new mail. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "aidee12" <sugna584@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:65AF7479-C3B9-44C7-8B5D-460205E5991C@xxxxxx Quote: > Can anyone tell me how I can receive a mail alert while working in another > program > eg Browsing the internet etc..
