| | Can't make Windows Mail my default e-mail handler I've tried using Control Panel where I can't find Windows Mail as an option for default e-mail handler. Tried changing by accessing Properties from Windows Mail but when I change to "Make this the defalut e-mail handler, apply and save then exit and return to Properties the setting has returned to Not the default e-mail handler. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium. Note: Control panel does show Windows mail as being the Default Newsgroup handler. Thanks |

| | Re: Can't make Windows Mail my default e-mail handler How long since this happened ? What were you using for e-mailing ? You have another e-mail program ? I am about to suggest Windows Live Mail, but I'd like to hear the answers of above questions. t-4-2 "Wildwill" <Wildwill@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:2C8F18BC-1DB7-4DB6-AC84-83612BA41FA6@xxxxxx Quote: > No there is nothing else. > Under Media there are several selections, but just Use current default > e-mail. which is selected under e-mail. > Strange Huh? > > "t-4-2" wrote: > Quote: >> Nothing under Use current default e-mail ? >> t-4-2 >> >> "Wildwill" <Wildwill@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:F8700A74-93D0-4D8D-9415-245567DF7E01@xxxxxx Quote: >> > Under that menu all I see is: >> > Choose default e-mail program: >> > Use current default e-mail. which is selected.
