| | Cannot receive email I set up a new Windows Live email, and I can send email, but I cannot receive emails. I get a server error when I hit the send/receive button. However, if I login to hotmail, I can see my incoming messages. Why can't I see them in Windows Mail? I have the incoming email server set at pop3.live.com. Thanks! |

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject name@xxxxxx and name@xxxxxx addresses. When you enter your email address during setup, use a dummy one (e.g., name@xxxxxx). After you've finished, go back and change the email address to the correct one.
