Cant't send Email over 450KB anything under fine

I have had a succesfull connection for over a year. Suddenly I can't send anything over 450 KB server time out . I can send anything under that fine. I can received fine. I get the following message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

There does not appear to be any problem with my server. I can go online and
send from my providers site. There is no long period of inactivity and no
apparent network problems. This happen when Bellsouth switch to Yahoo last month.

Re: Cant't send Email over 450MB anything under find

I believe AT&T/Yahoo has a message size limit of 10 or 20 MB.

Re: Cant't send Email over 450MB anything under find

In that case, the problem is most likely being caused by interference
from your antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus should be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tuto...ning/index.htm

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:
