| | RE: parental control block Greetings, The error you are seeing is misleading. The root cause is that you are running a version of MSN Explorer that is older than 9.6. As of September 1st, Hotmail has turned off the email servers that were supporting the older version of MSN email. You may have seen the emails about the DAV email servers being shutdown. Unfortunately, the MSN Explorer is interpreting the error being sent back from the hotmail server as a parental control error. My apologies for the confusion. In order to start seeing your email in MSN Explorer again, you will need to upgrade to the lastest version (9.6). Please go to http://membercenter.msn.com, sign in and select the option to download the latest MSN Software.
