Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

When trying to create my email I couldn't find my Incoming Mail (POP3 or
IMAP) server name or my Outgoing email server (SMTP) name.
I can't find my email server providers either so how do I find out what to
put as my email servers?

Contact whoever is providing your Internet service and ask them.

Re: Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

Do you have an email address you have used successfully in the past?
If so, what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
That domain name part represents your mail service provider.
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email address,
we can help with that also.

Re: Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

Where in that page does it say anything about email addresses that finish
with @microsoft.com? That page describes the Windows Mail program, but I see
nothing about @microsoft.com email addresses.

Re: Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

That web page merely describes some of the features of the Windows Mail
email program. Having an email program does not entitle you to an email
address. Only Microsoft employees are entitled to have an @microsoft.com
email address.

If you don't have an email address, your ISP can give you one, or get a free
one via Gmail or Hotmail.

Re: Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

When I go to create an email account it uses the example:
'someone@newsgroup'

Re: Can't find incoming/outcoming email servers

That is just an example, to show you the format of a typical email
address. Microsoft has no way of knowing what your actual email
address is.
