| | on screen mail notification with windows XP when I switched users my name with a picture came up. It would also say I had one program running. If I received mail while I was in this state there would also be, one unread mail message, listed under the, one program running. Can this be done with Vista? |

| | Re: on screen mail notification I was on outlook but now I'm on Windows mail. It's not that important. I would not want to go through the process of downloading outlook and redoing all my messages and contacts again. I thought it may be just a setting in the vista programing. Thanks "Gary VanderMolen" wrote: Quote: > Which email program did you use with XP? | | Re: on screen mail notification Outlook can't be downloaded. You install it from a CD. It is not free. Outlook has many more features than Microsoft's free email programs have. -- Gary VanderMolen, Microsoft MVP (Mail) http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/def...le/vandermolen "kevin" <kevin@newsgroup> wrote in message news:A2A226AE-49C3-4A4E-A9D9-AD1780DE963E@newsgroup Quote: >I was on outlook but now I'm on Windows mail.
