Vista - Error in windows live hotmail account

As of last night I can no longer access my windows live hotmail account when opening up my windows live mail. I get the following pop up when trying. It says that Windows cannot send or receive hotmail due to the following.

Error 3204

0x8DE20003

Can anyone help me?

I have been getting this error for 2 days now and still no resolution

OK, good to hear. I understand the Hotmail servers were malfunctioning for a while.
