Outlook 2003 - Outlook personal Folders Backup

After installing Windows Vista, and after installing Outlook 2003, I tried to
install Outlook personal Folders Backup. The install is being performed, and
I can see the program in my installed program list, but the program doe snot
integrate in Outlook. There is no "backup" item in the Outlook File pull-down
list.
Can anybody help?

RE: Outlook 2003 - Outlook personal Folders Backup

You should check if the language version of this tools matches with the
language of your Office Outlook version, if that´s not the problem, try
reinstalling the tool and look again for the option in the File menu.
If the problem persist you may want to read some tips in the Office Online
help support at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...875321033.aspx

Re: Outlook 2003 - Outlook personal Folders Backup

I had the same problem so it would be great to find a problem.

As a temporary solution I created a batch file to copy the outlook file to
my document folder (once outlook had been closed down).

You can take a computer class at your local community college.

Re: Outlook 2003 - Outlook personal Folders Backup

A batch file is a file that is composed of statements that execute at the
command line level. See http://www.computerhope.com/batch.htm

You learn things by doing and looking things up and doing and over and over
and over again. <G>
