| | Windows Mail "shakes" meesages When I launch Windows Mail, the messages "shake" from left to right a few times...does the same thing when clicking on a different newsgroup listing. Any workarounds as this is annoying? Running Windows Vista Ultimate RTM from MSDN. -- Carey Frisch |

| | Re: Windows Mail "shakes" meesages The problem of "flashing" of the screen was noted during the beta with several video cards. Might want to see if an update is available for your particular card and see if it helps. There is an initial "jumping" up/down of the message list header information when opening Windows Mail while the database is being initialized but this disappears after a few seconds. I've never seen it when changing newsgroups, but wonder if it could occur when changing to a binary group vs. a text group. Have no knowledge of any workarounds. -- Jim Pickering, MVP/Windows Mail applications Please reply ONLY to newsgroup. Using Outlook 2003 for e-mail so there are only newsgroups on here, connecting to a text only server and it happens every time i click on a new newsgroup. |
