    Can't send scanned items...always an error code...can't resolve it

    Always the same error codes:
    #1 The connection to server has failed.
    Your IMAP command could not be sent to server due to non-network errors.
    This could be for example, indicate lack of memory on your system.
    Then details my configuration

    #2 Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review
    the list of errors below for more details.
    Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
    this include, server problems, network problems or a long period of
    inactivity.
    Subject 'volunteer application', Account: 'IMAP, Server: 'cox.net',
    Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure (SSL): no, Error code: 0x800ccc0f

    1. I doubt that Cox offers IMAP email accounts.
    2. "cox.net" is not a proper server name.

    Remove the account you have entered in Windows Mail, and start over.
