Outlook Express always had problems handling large volumes of emails i.e.
greater than 2 GB.
Does anyone know if Microsoft have solved this problem in Vista Web Mail ? -
I am running the 32 bit version of Vista.

What do you mean by "Vista Web Mail"?
You posted using Windows Mail, the replacement for Outlook Express. Yes,
Windows Mail replaced the terrible DBX data structure with an entirely
different one where messages are stored as individual files instead of
within the database itself.

The messages are no longer stored with the database, so this should no
longer be an issue.
