Not many posts showing for this group?

I do not know why?, but on my computer there is only 28 messages being shown
for the windows vista mail newsgroup ???

I am pretty curtain there are more posts than that?

What I need to find out is the problem on my computer, my ISP's or the
newsgroup itself?

Any help/ advice or info would be gratefully accepted.

Do you have a view selected view>current view, select top and bottom.
Go to tools>options>read>remove the checkmark from get ## headers.
Are your synchronise settings set to get all messages? Select the server in
the folder tree>change to all messages.
Do you have a message rule set to delete messages older than ## of days? If
so disable it.
I do not currently have WM available (Vista PC Died), look in the
tools>options>maintenance tab, for a setting that deletes news messages ##
days after downloading, extend the period or remove the checkmark.
Select the newsgroup in the folder tree>right click>properties>local
file>reset to download all messages on the server.

HTH?

Good question. You appear to be accessing the newsgroup through
msnews.microsoft.com, the same server I use, and I currently have 1357
messages. What are your settings in View | Current View?

Re: Not many posts showing for this group?

Same here, only 32 messages for mail.
vista.general has 30040 messages.

A week ago there was no vista.mail newsgroup

I don't know what's going on, but I've been in this newsgroup for months.

Re: Not many posts showing for this group?

I knew, I've been here with RC1.

When I installed Vista RTM I tried to join vista.mail but it didn't exist.
I checked a few times. Anyway at the end I'm here again.
