| | Outlook Express Inbox did not transfer to Windows Mail All Subfolders that I created under Inbox did transfer successfully. Unfortuantely main folder Inbox was lost and upgrade removed all *.dbx files so there is no chance of restoring e-mails. *I know that I should have done backup ![]() |

| | Re: Outlook Express Inbox did not transfer to Windows Mail It removed all the dbx files? That sucks. My DBXpress program will analyze the entire hard drive disk clusters for messages and if they haven't been overwritten, it will find at least some of them. See www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/ That really is not good behavior to fail and then delete the original files. steve "Aigarslv" <Aigarslv@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:716B65ED-AA1A-42D0-AF97-51A50421D554@microsoft.com... > All Subfolders that I created under Inbox did transfer successfully. > Unfortuantely main folder Inbox was lost and upgrade removed all *.dbx > files > so there is no chance of restoring e-mails. > > > *I know that I should have done backup ![]() |
