| | send/receive error I just switched to Windows Mail from Thunderbird...the only problem is an error message applet that appears every time I hit Send/receive to check for new messages, however, it lists no details or specific errors..that part is blank. If I exit WM and come back in, only then will my new messages appear...any thoughts? Thanks! |

If so, disable those options and try again. -- Jim Pickering, MVP/Windows Mail applications Please reply ONLY to newsgroup. | | RE: send/receive error I'm having the exact same problem Mary. Let me know if you find a solution and I'll do the same. I may be going back to Thunderbird. ![]() PJ "Mary Needham" wrote: > I just switched to Windows Mail from Thunderbird...the only problem is an > error message applet that appears every time I hit Send/receive to check > for new messages, however, it lists no details or specific errors..that part > is blank. | | Re: send/receive error I posted the same problem about a week or so ago. no response yet. i guarentee you though that it is not a antivirus issue. Weird. A slight workaround, however, is just send all and recieve all seperately. I went to thunderbird cuz of windows mail is crap. neospyce "av8rpj" <av8rpj@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:71408B55-8EE0-474D-B0B4-A500DCAFF3B1@microsoft.com... > I'm having the exact same problem Mary. | | Re: send/receive error I had the same problem and found a fix. Go to tools->accounts. Look in your news and directory services. In mine there were duplicates of a couple things. I delete the duplicates and the "send/receive all" worked immediately. |
