| | Minimize to tray at vista startup Hi all, Is there a way to start Windows Mail minimized to the system tray? If so, how would I do it? Thanks in advance, Alice |

| | Re: Minimize to tray at vista startup You do this the same way you would do this under Windows XP. Right click "start" Go to Open All Users Click on Programs Right click on Windows Mail Copy Open the Startup folder Right click | paste Go to the properties of Windows Mail in the startup folder Set the startup option at "minimize" Apply and close the popup window Close everything down and restart your computer to test. It works for me! -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew as much as you think you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew! With OE I used to use this: http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=hideoe It could start OE on startup and keep it in the system tray while minimised. ss. |

Make a shortcut to Windows Mail in your Startup folder, set "run: minimized" in it's properties, then install OE-PowerTool 3.15 and check appropriate option. http://www.grzegorz.net/oe/oept.php?lang=en -- Michal Kawecki [MS-MVP] Warsaw, PL |
