| | How do I open the program??? I can't find a link to Windows Mail anywhere on my desktop or my programs. The only way that I am able to open it is by going to the welcome center, clicking on windows basics, scrolling down to getting started with email, and clicking on the link to mshelp://help/?id=Microsoft.Windows.Resources.ShellExecuteTopicIcon which has the text "click to open windows mail" I must be missing something simple but I've been searching for over an hour and can't find anything in my new Vista install that allows me to open Windows Mail or to create a shortcut to it on my desktop. |

| | Re: How do I open the program??? Another option would be to right-click the "Start" button, choose properties, then choose "customize", and then make Windows Mail the default mail program using the check mark to add a permanent link on the Start menu itself. That and Internet Explorer can always be there at the top of the Start Menu items Chris "Carey Frisch [MVP]" <cnfrisch@nospamgmail.com> wrote in message news:enoIf$BSHHA.3812@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > 1.
