Imap Folders

In Tools>Accounts>Properties>Imap Tab I have DESELECTED the Check for Mail
in All Folders box. BUT...If I click the send/receive button I can see it
looking in all my folders for mail. This really slows things down.
Speaking of buttons that don't work......I have checked the box that says
complete email addresses while typing (or whatever it says) and that doesn't
work either. It really is a drag having to type a full email address instead
of just the first couple letters like I could do in good-old OE. If I
emailed someone yesterday it remembers that address and fills it in. But I
can't understand when some people reply saying that it only works (the
fillin part) for people you've emailed once before. It can't be
possible...can it.....that someone would design a piece of email software
like that???? Any answers to the above would be appreciated.
P.S. I read a post here by frankster about deleting the Windows Message
Store and then letting Windows rebuild it. Anybody know where to find that?

DID ANYBODY AT MICROSOFT ACTUALLY TEST THIS PIECE OF JUNK EMAIL PROGRAM????
